Our Featured Topics:

“Market Outlook and Portfolio Positioning” - Mark Bronzo, CFA Portfolio Manager, Rydex/SGI and Dr. Jerome Abernathy, Director of Research, Rydex/SGI - The speakers will discuss developing optimal portfolios in the current environment. As well as what bond yields, monetary policy and yield curves are telegraphing and the effects on economic fundamentals of US vs. global equity markets.

“Connecting Money & Life: The Key to Creating “All Weather” Client Relationships” - Michael Kay, CFP®, CPA, President of Financial Focus, LLC and Carol Anderson, M.S., President of Money Quotient - The financial crisis and painfully slow economic recovery have made a profound impact on the American psyche. This experience has been dramatic and traumatic for many, but has also precipitated a healthy re-examination of deeply held beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviors. This current “national consciousness” gives you, as financial planners, the perfect opportunity to engage your clients in important conversations that have the potential for changing the trajectory of their lives in a positive and profound way.

“A Financial Planner's Social Security Toolbox” - Everett Lo, Project Manager with the Social Security Administration's Regional Public Affairs Office - Presenter will take Planner's through the resources available from SSA to help planners with Social Security questions ranging from the basics of who qualifies, how to estimate online the client's retirement benefits and resources, and planning for Special Situations like divorce.

“Bring In The Largest IRAs Now!” -
Ed Slott, CPA from Ed Slott and Company, LLC - The big IRA money is moving to educated advisors who help clients plan for future taxes. The new tax rules provide a limited window of opportunity for advisors to increase their income by creating plans to help clients keep more of the money they make. Advisors will learn how to do exactly that and capture new business in the process.
