In some respects, we are still coming out of the global pandemic which we have lived through for more than three years. We are still seeing the impact of the pandemic, as well as some unrelated variables as well. There are countless issues going on today. The US economy, inflation, recession fears, the results of increasing interest rates, capital markets behaving favorably and appearing to recover, the continuance of the Russia-Ukraine war, tax law, and so much more. So, what exactly is going on with the financial markets and the economy? What does all this mean? We have seen capital markets reach all-time highs, then regress and pull back, and now we are seeing some increases with what appears to be bullish behavior again. Another Bull market? A recovering market? Bear market? Capitulation? Correction? Well, there is nobody better to answer all of these questions and to give us “A Capital Markets And Economic Overview For 2023 And Beyond” than our very special speaker!

Mr. Sasaki, CFA, is a Senior Vice President with Northern Trust and serves as the Senior Investment Portfolio Manager for Wealth Management. That means – like us – he is responsible for and works with HNW individuals, wealthy families, and their portfolios/investments. Mr. Sasaki also works in partnership with Northern Trust’s thought leaders and specialist teams, so he has a very unique insight and perspective on the global economies and capital markets, and what it means to our clients!
Mr. Sasaki is returning to us again this year – live and in-person -- as this will be a LIVE ONLY EVENT. Last year, his presentation was one of the most widely attended and informative events we’ve ever had. Many of you will recognize Mr. Sasaki’s name and face from his numerous appearances on CNBC, as well as Bloomberg, and in various national media and forums. Mr. Sasaki has over a quarter of a century of global industry experience, specializing in economic and capital markets, research, investment strategy and wealth management. He is a graduate of New York University (undergraduate) and Fordham University (Masters) with honorary distinction, and is a Certified Financial Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of New York.
