We are going through another year of the pandemic, and so many other things, and the impact of all of it on the economy, capital markets, tax law, and so much more. What exactly is going on with the financial markets and the economy? Stimulus packages, enhanced unemployment payments, the infrastructure bill, interest rates, reopening’s and back to work, the deficit, potential trade wars, and so much more. What does all this mean? We have seen markets reach an all-time high, all while we faced and were living with a global pandemic, and the massive impact it has had around the world. Last year markets got crushed and tanked, and then they came back! We are now seeing all-time highs again! Or are we? We are very proud – and very excited – to announce our council-year kick-off Special Event. The Greater New Jersey Estate Planning Council has arranged to have none other than Mr. Kei Sasaki. Mr. Sasaki is a Senior Vice President with Northern Trust, and serves as the Senior Investment Portfolio Manager for Wealth Management. That means – like us – he is responsible for and works with HNW individuals and wealthy families. Mr. Sasaki also works in partnership with Northern Trust’s thought leaders and specialist teams, so he has a very unique insight and perspective on the global economies and capital markets, and what it means to our clients!

You may recognize his name and face from his appearances on CNBC, as well as Bloomberg, and in national media and forums. Mr. Sasaki has over a quarter of a century of global industry experience, specializing in economic and capital markets research, investment strategy and wealth management. He is a graduate of New York University (undergraduate) and Fordham University (Masters) with honorary distinction, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of New York.
