Life Insurance Planning and Estate Planning…What do you do for your clients in 2020 and beyond. Two topics that have always been intertwined. Or have they? With major changes in the tax laws, massively high exemptions, so few people being exposed to a Federal Estate Tax liability, and most recently, the SECURE Act, and more, how has all of this impacted estate planning and life insurance planning. How do the two play into and off each other?

For this exciting two hour session, we will have two well-known professionals share their expertise on how life insurance, and estate planning, has changed, what should we be doing for our clients now, and what the future holds for these two very related professions. John Elias, Esq., is the founding member of Elias Sellitti LLC, a boutique law firm with offices in Florham Park, New Jersey, and New York, New York. John exclusively is involved in the representation of individuals, closely-held businesses, individual and corporate fiduciaries, in all matters relating to estate and gift tax planning, income tax planning, business and succession planning; asset protection; and related litigation. John’s unique approach to not just planning – but the industry – gives him a perspective far different than what most professionals tend to see and look at.

David R. Alter, CLU, is the Chief Executive Officer of International Planning Alliance, LLC (IPA). As a forty-year life insurance industry veteran, David has developed tremendous insight to the life insurance industry, and the professionals who work in and around the industry. David spends a significant amount of time working with both advisers and clients complex estate and business planning cases. He is an industry specialist in the use of financial modeling for business and insurance situations, and developed the first accelerated death benefit rider, and remains very active in the development of new products for the life insurance industry.

This is going to be a very exciting, don’t miss event!
